1.8 million Free Books – Read Kobo eBooks!

I use this app on my IPOD and my tablet I had one minor problem and Kobo addressed the issue and did an update I do have two other ebook apps but find Kobo the user friendliest ebook app to use                 Kobo User

I like how you can customize the background for the home page but you REALLY need to add scrolling or even auto scrolling that would be fantastic to this app I also keep getting the error cannot open next chapter Very frustrating        Could be Much Better

I wont use any reader app that doesnt show the chapter number and the page number Except for some very old eBooks Kobo always show this important information Kindle only shows how many minutes left in a chapter Puhleeze                 Shows chapterpage s

I have been struggling for a while with needing to restart my iPad to prevent Kobo from freezing on startup The problem seems to be solved and I can feel more confident looking to Kobo for eBooks again              Vastly Improved

This update does not work It freezes upon start and never displays even a splash screen     Complete failure to boot up

Works well on my iPhone 4s Not as much fun as my Kobo Glow because of the small screen size but a great way to have a book ready at all times                 Great App

This app has always worked super well for me and I prefer it to the two other apps Ive used for reading ebooks on my iPhone I like having a purchasing alternative thats easier on my conscience too                 Easy and clean

I love everything about this app I have it since Sony transferred their business to them but I have the iPhone 6 plus I can not purchase books from the app why I preview the books in hopes of buying but it does not give me that option I have to go online purchase book then go back to my library on app to download maybe this can be fix I would really like that                 I love the app but

I really enjoy this app It syncs well between my literati ereader my MacBook and my iPhone The prices on here seem to be a little better than the other programs as well My only complaint is every book I want is not immediately available Sometimes new releases take a week or so depending on the publisher                 Excellent app

Kobo review 4 I like supporting the local bookstore and the Kobo app easy to use on my iPad I like being able to put books in defined folders the iPad version allows Keeping track of books could be improved A Kobo rep suggested I look at Kobo desktop called Koboapp on the iMac It tries to track your book use for you by sorting to folders unread seems to mean never opened reading in progress but includes ALL finished books too so not so useful finished at the end but not closed It is sort of useful for seeing what you have not read as long as you realize that just looking at the cover puts them in the Reading folder with everything you ever read since there is no way to archive those you decide you never need to see again I am hoping this will be improved              It is my favorite for use on the iPad

This app is great and Ive used it for years They have been keeping all my favorite features while always adding new ones as well The added features are awesome I never had any problems with it and it has always worked well I definitely recommend it                 One of my favorite reading apps

The app wont let me open the book that I purchased Absolutely terrible     This app is the worst

I got this app because I could get a lot of low priced and free books I was wanting to read but the app doesnt give you the ability to truly delete books or at lease archive them I hate having to scroll through wha seems like pages to find a book I havent read This app needs some work           Not Happy

The app is good it lets you read on most devices but the only problem I have is when you switch devices and you download the app the annotations and the notes I took didnt pop up        Okay

I have read all the very negative reviews and I have to say that none of the complaints these people have have ever happened to me I think the app is easy to use and maneuver through I love the definitions and the look up in book or in Google options The only things I would do different would be to go back to the library format you had when I first started using this app I would also find a way to leaf through the book easier I find that having to hold down to get through to different parts of the book can be annoying Could you make it so that if you were wanting to go to chapter 5 you could just go to that chapter Just a great app in my opinion              I really like Kobo

I download the app and deleted it and now I cant download it becaus of the new update requires ios7 I only have iOS 6 Please make it compatible with iOS 6              Hate the update

I have really enjoyed using Kobo This app has allowed me to read books with out carrying books around with me I only have to pick up my phone The prices for the media is very affordable                 Steady Reader

Im not impressed Its frustrating reading a book and suddenly have it jump back to the previous page or chapter when you turn the page At times changing to night view makes the screen go wonky and its a brown background with black letters and I have to close it and restart I cant get to highlighted words or bookmarks easily it takes you to the chapter but not the bookmark or highlight You also cant easily remove highlights previously set Kindle does this without issue        Soso

This app used to be good but then it started crashing when I just opened it They just updated it and now it stays open like 5 seconds longer than it used to before crashing Yay     Always crashing

I am a long time user of Kobo and really enjoy the variety of books they offer My biggest complaint is as so many others have said The pages hang or wont turn ahead they turn back 1 or 2 pages instead This is absolutely infuriating when it is every 4 pages or so The fonts also do not change You get one basic publishers font no matter which one you choose Is anyone at Kobo reading these reviews Please fix these issues with the next update And please make it quick Thanks           Bug fixes needed

Wow I downloaded this on all my devices and I even have the kobo e reader so amazing I love the selection I even like how you get free books as well The achievements will keep you reading a new way of goals kind of like a game                 Amazing

This app has issues No updates seem to be able to fix the fact that is slows down for loading chapters and often hangs and wont turn pages It makes me nuts when it will suddenly flip backwards a page rather than going forward when just tapping the right side of the screen Just too many issues to make it enjoyable when reading It interrupts the pleasure of reading I only use it for books I bought from Sonys old store Seriously Kobo should use the old Sony Reader app if they want something that works        Annoyingly bad

This app is a total waste of time It doesnt let you log on and sends a TON of emails Even if you try to change the email if you manage to log on it keeps sending to the wrong person This app is the equivalent of poo     I HATE THIS APP DO NOT GET

I love reading and Kobo used to be great for that This last update has been catastrophic and Im afraid this is it Kobo Im leaving your reader I cant even read for more than 5 minutes without the app crashing And the storage use is catastrophic Seriously about 500 meg of side loaded books ballooned to over 15 GIG because of kobo Im not sure what youre doing but it ate up all the storage I had left and then crashed I get why you removed the Inapp purchasing making money is a bit essential to being a business But since I cant purchase inapp then the only thing tying me to the app would be the DRM And since Ive found a way around that Ill just buy books from Kobo and load them on a different app Its been a fun albeit frustrating ride But alas there are other eBook apps that far outshine what you have and its time to move on     A sad goodbye

This used to be a great reading App Since update it constantly crashes Needs to be fixed quickly     Crashes every three pages

This is an ok app but nothing that others dont have The biggest issue happens after reading for a few minutes I am unable to turn the page This is so annoying because I have to go out of the app wait awhile go back in then maybe the page turns The only way to insure that the page will turn when this happens is power off PITA I downloaded 4 books and when I have read them I wont be ordering more through Kobo To much trouble        Maybe it is 3 stars but no more
