My BitMedic Adware scanner was not functioning on my computer and I contacted BitMedic support via the handy email on their dashboard The support team responded quickly with how to remove old app completely so when I reinstalled the BitMedic antivirus app the Adware scanner now performs properly Very pleased to have functioning anti virus anti adware security again                     Great email support Macleaned

The app s design is clean and easy to use but hasn t done anything to remove the adware on my MacBook Pro Reached out to support via email and they were super prompt and helpful with their repsonse but I ve followed their suggestions exactly and multiple times with no improvement So I m still looking for something to get rid of the adware on my computer and need another option Hopefully they can straigten out the issues BitMedic has because I want to like and recommend it Unfortunately I can t do that right now         Hasn t Removed My Adware Rossi407

I have Malwarebyte on Windows and decided to take on BitMedic for MacBook Pro The interface is very intuitive with complete separation of concerns that captures what an antivirus software should be doing in the background Threats are quarantined in the folder of my choosing since I do not want the system level threats sitting in my user folder by default Scans can be scheduled but also done adhoc which is helpful when I just happen to download a file on the fly The updates are not distracting they run in the background and do not slow down the machine Once I upgraded from macOS Sierra to High Sierra there was a glitch which resulted in an error about permission to locate the monitored volume The BitMedic support team was very responsive kind and able to convey instructions about uninstalling and reinstalling the application over email Keep up the good work                     Definitive protection fast and effective and responsive support team roxinradri

I paid for this app and used it extensively but now deleted it because I was infected with malware and adware but even after running deep scans and adware scans on Bitmedic and 2 other applications it was Malwarebytes that fixed the issue 6 of them and Malwarebytes took about 1 50 the amount of time Bitmedic does to scan     Not even worth the disk space yet alone the cost ErikLyons

The description of their own app is full of intentionally misleading statements outright lies A few minutes of simply searching for information outside of the App Store will alert you to at least few of the many integrity issues the description makes Why would you trust your computers security to a company that is plainly deceiving you The reviews on here are deviously suspicious Dont take my word for it but i would recomend searching for more info prior to purchasing this junk     Check the claims they make Targetindicator0

I am still having problems with dataloading net I ve done both adware scan and malware scan but the problem still exists Not usefull at all     dataloading net still here sherrylshe

I opened this app for the first time and ran a basic adware scan What I did not realize was that it was preset to remove ALL BROWSER EXTENSIONS adware or not And it did just that EVERY extension I had configured in Firefox and Safari are GONE They re not in quarantine or anywhere that I can put them back And the app gives a generic explanation like Browser extensions can spy on you but why go nuclear and remove EVERY SINGLE ONE Without any user input or letting me decide I assumed it would flag extensions for review so I could decide what to do with them But nope it stripped everything out and there s no way to restore So now I have to try to remember every extension I had download and install all of them again and configure every one And I can say this with 100 certainty I am deleting this subpar app Malwarebytes does an excellent job and it s free I am really upset with myself for buying into this app s hype What an infuriating experience Buyer BEWARE     Deleted ALL my Firefox extensions with no way to recover Bmuse
