Paragraft is a halfway house between a word processor and plain text, tuned for touch based productivity. It gives you basic control over your formatting with the minimum of fuss. Use it for an easy ...
Great app Icon looks like an afterthought I echo the sentiments of another user and would like to see a more sophisticated icon which after all is part of the user experience Suggestion How about using the paragraph symbol white on black                 Eminently Useful terranXTRA
I like this app Believe me I m a freak about finding the right note taking app Here s what I like 1 You write in separated paragraphs that can easily be rearranged Love this about it 2 I like the simple tagging system 3 I like the fact that you can choose from a variety of fonts 4 I like the fact that you can open your finished note in other iPad apps including QuickOffice and Pages Works good with FTP Client Pro Here s what I wish it had 1 Direct link with the Dropbox app 2 Links to other paragraft documents like a wiki But overall a great product                 I like it Greg Waddell
I take A LOT of notes on my iPhone Everything from my journal to shopping lists to random ideas and business plans If I think it I write it down I recently discovered markdown and began researching the various apps that support it Unable to determine a clear winner from the reviews I decided to just purchase them all I bought Nocs Trunk Notes Paragraft and IA Writer After spending only 20 minutes with them all using them to create a quick shopping list it became EXCEEDINGLY clear that Paragraft was at whole different level than the others Get it You will not regret Now just a couple of notes to the developer One thing that I loved about trunk notes is its built in wiki Your entire note collection functions like a wiki and linking to other pages notes is extremely simple and easy If you could add that as an option or an add on I would gladly pay 9 99 for this app Even as you have it now you could easily charge 3 99 4 99 Also you should really update your icon to match how amazing this app is We all know the icon has nothing to do with anything but sadly that s not the way ppl think The iPhone is about 2 things functionality and visual appeal iPhone owners want both with their apps icons as well Please update the icon it matters                     The best of the best bh04
For fast notes this is the app to get I have many note apps I ve been looking for that certain one that would help with my reading disability now I ve found it Really I m surprised I m the first review this is a very cool note app And with the latest update even better Just buy you ll use it every day                     Best note app swtbby
I am an editorial writer who works back and forth between my notes and what Am writing I just started using this today It is very fast and has many useful features I particularly like the ability to drag paragrahs to reposition them That is fantastic Thanks for all the hard work that went into developiong this                     extremely useful jocas44
I like Paragraft it takes Mardown text and outputs beautiful PDF files complete with page numbers and file names included at the bottom of the page in the print preview Plus it lets you toggle back and forth between curly quotes and straight quotes And another very helpful feature is the way it separates each paragraph in your document using the edit function you can physically slide your paragraphs around however you like reordering them as needed If you re good with Markdown and somewhat flexible regarding formatting you could use this to create full fledged documents without touching MS Word or Pages However Paragraft does not have the best file and sync structure You still have to manually upload each txt file to Dropbox individually This is straightforward but then you have to redo this if you make edits What I do is create and edit my documents using WriteUp another handy Markdown app and then open them in Dropbox to export to Paragraft Paragraft then outputs a nice PDF which WriteUp doesn t do just yet which I can then upload back to any folder in Dropbox I like I have a feeling that Paragraft and WriteUp will both be added some of the features of the other and that Markdown will gradually be improved to allow more formatting than is currently allowed em dash anyone In the meantime Paragraft gets the job done nicely just not quite as automatically as I d like                 Reliable Markdown to PDF Dropbox is good but not automatic Blue Velociraptor
Yes just what I was looking for a quick and easy way to create RTF documents without unnecessary or complicated features I sent the author a couple suggestions using the report a problem button Can t wait for further updates                 Reliable and Just Right for Write n McSear
If you have Markdown documents you want to bring in be forewarned that this app s implementation of Markdown leaves much to be desired Only supports headlines made with hash marks headlines underlined with hyphens or equals marks won t be formatted properly The app also has some issues with italicized text at the beginning of a line Paragraft sees the first asterisk and assumes you want a bulleted list Also completely missing block quoted text Haven t had occasion to test out more detailed features of Markdown like code indentation or links Three stars for effort It s a great idea But considering there are so many complete open source implementations of Markdown out there it s kind of surprising that this app is missing so much of it             A good start Incomplete implementation of Markdown josecastillo
Paragraft provides a reasonable compromise between simplicity and functionality allowing you to provide some basic formatting to documents in a very quick way The program does this mainly by providing ways to add Markdown formatting codes through shortcut codes on the primary keyboard and gestures The reviewer who says you cannot return to the document list from the options page is wrong clearly the developer would have tried to do this but I ll admit it could be more obvious that you do this by pressing one of the sorting option buttons The program could definitely use some tweaks before it hits 1 0 but for 0 99 it s worth a look                 Good start Heedless Youth
Clearly the developer never tried to set the app options Once you go to the options page there s no way back to the documents unless you force quit the app Simply poor design and not ready for purchase     No way out Macdrifter
so far it s great I love it                 mr RiverRock 3
It seems to live up to it s claim as a functional yet simple text editor                 Pretty good NewDan526
